Process Business Analyst

I am currently looking for a Process Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for evaluating current-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering future-state process designs that enhance both customer and colleague experiences.

You'll work across a variety of retail banking functions, supporting large-scale transformation initiatives and embedding best practice process management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, map and document end-to-end business processes using BPMN or other recognised process modelling techniques.
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand current-state processes and define future-state operating models.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes across the bank.
  • Produce high-quality process documentation, business requirements and impact assessments.
  • Support business change initiatives by ensuring process improvements align with regulatory, operational and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Change, Technology, Operations and Risk teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Track process improvement initiatives and measure business outcomes using KPIs and performance metrics.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience as a Process Business Analyst within retail banking or financial services.
  • Strong experience delivering business process improvement and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in process mapping and modelling using BPMN, Visio or similar tools.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing requirements across multiple business areas.
  • A solid understanding of retail banking operations, customer journeys and regulatory environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable

  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or process automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of customer onboarding, lending, payments, servicing or operational processes.
  • Familiarity with process mining or workflow automation tools such as Celonis, Power Automate, Pega or Appian.

This is a 6 month initial working hybrid in London (3 days on site, 2 remote) paying £450/day Outside IR35.
