Process Architect
Type: Contractor
Location: London (hybrid working - 2-3 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months +
Vetting: SC security clearance will be required
Essential Skills
- Solution / Project Architecture: Proven experience defining and delivering architecture across complex digital transformation programmes, from discovery and design through to implementation.
- Enterprise Integration: Strong experience designing solutions that integrate multiple systems, platforms, data sources and services across complex technology estates.
- Digital Transformation: Demonstrable experience supporting large-scale digital, technology and business transformation, including legacy modernisation.
- Architecture Governance: Ability to develop architecture artefacts, principles, standards and design decisions, ensuring solutions align with wider enterprise and technology strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, delivery teams, suppliers and architecture communities.
- Delivery Collaboration: Experience working closely with Product, Delivery, Engineering, Security, Data and Business Architecture teams within Agile environments.

Desirable Skills
- Previous Central Government or wider UK Public Sector digital transformation experience.
- Knowledge of GDS principles, Technology Code of Practice and government digital standards.
- Experience working across multiple government departments or complex multi-agency environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, particularly Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience of APIs, integration patterns, data architecture, identity/access management and security-by-design.
- Relevant architecture certification such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, AWS, Azure or equivalent.
- Security Clearance: Willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance; active SC would be advantageous.
