Process Development Technologist
Hull, Humberside

Purpose of the Role
This role covers concept work, in the test bakery through to full scale factory scale up of development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the correct sourcing of all new raw materials and create recipes then organise and factory trials with operations, process and site technical teams at relevant sites.

NPD Process Capability
- Proven ability to complete all NPD tasks from concept to launch
- Independently to the desired standard.
- Drawing on their experience of the NPD process the individual will be able manage a project from start to finish without relying on prompts from others
- Organise themselves to predict tasks and plan working within the critical path timings

Account Responsibilities
- Developing for a specific customer area e.g. Innovation, Morrisons, Asda
- Recognising and understanding the required brand standards for the account
- Working alongside the cross functional teams to deliver the projects in full and on time.
- Attending customers submission when required
- Understand the current range.
- Conduct regular store visits
- Benchmark competitors’ products if required.
- Proactively look for gaps, innovation, quality improvements for the account

Experience & Qualifications
- A Food related qualification preferred but not required
- 1 years working in food manufacture
- Recent, previous experience working in Bakery
