We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to design and implement more complex systems independently and troubleshoot problems. Capable to lead projects, drive technological innovation, and focus on advanced research.
Your Contribution
System Design and Implementation
- Develop and deploy automated vision systems for tasks like defect detection, object recognition, robot guidance, and dimensional measurement in high volume manufacturing and production environments.
Programming and Configuration
- Program and integrate system components such as cameras, lenses, and lighting, and configure software using tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow for Deep Learning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR/OCV), and Data Matrix Code.
Testing and Optimization
- Validate system performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency, often using data analysis to improve model performance and reduce inference time. An understanding of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and QDAS software would be preferable.
Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, operations, and mechanical and electrical development, to gather requirements and integrate vision systems into broader automation platforms.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Provide support and perform diagnostics on existing vision systems to ensure continuous, accurate operation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
