Role summary

We require a Senior Process Engineer to develop, evaluate and deliver high-quality process engineering studies and designs. You will be responsible for designing, optimising and maintaining processes whilst ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The role is focused on hands-on technical analysis, concept development, and detailed engineering to support economically sound project outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Develop procedures and protocols to ensure safe and reliable operation of nuclear facilities
  • Prepare and review process deliverables and operating philosophies
  • Evaluate process alternatives and provide technically sound recommendations
  • Support hazard identification and risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA) and implement outcomes into designs
  • Collaborate with other engineers, mechanics, operators and technical specialists to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
  • Ensure engineering work complies with applicable standards, codes, and company specifications, as well as nuclear safety regulations and environmental measures
  • Maintain clear, accurate and auditable technical documentation

Formal qualifications or training

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant industry experience in process engineering roles
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
