Collaborating with our JV Partners and Customers, Jacobs bring together exceptional talent and expertise to achieve outstanding results through the delivery of world class engineering solutions across the Design, Build and Asset Management of high value CAPEX programmes for Waste Water Treatment systems, pumping stations, sewer networks and associated CAPEX assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Alongside our existing portfolio of UK wide high profile projects, our recent success in securing a strategic high value Design and Build Framework will provide you the platform and opportunity to grow your career in the Water Industry. In this key role, you won’t just witness this transformation — you’ll drive it!
In this newly created exciting opportunity as Process Engineering Lead, you will gain the opportunity to take on a high-profile client-facing role, shaping, developing, and implementing technical excellence, influencing best practices, and playing a pivotal role in delivering sustainable water solutions.
Your remit will include
- Provide technical leadership, advice, and support to resolve issues and overcome obstacles across projects.
- Drive innovation by introducing new initiatives, challenging technical solutions, and maximizing client value.
- Lead multi-disciplined teams delivering excellence for our clients across all phases of a project lifecycle.
- Lead and optimize process engineering delivery across the Framework programme.
- Foster and continuously develop a partnership working relationship with our Client and JV partners.
- Mentor, coach, and support the personal and professional development of colleagues and peers to continuously.

Here's what you'll need
We are eager to hear from problem solvers, solutions-driven, proactive, ambitious candidates who have a blend of the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- A progressive career leading multi-disciplinary Design teams within the water sector.
- Demonstrable track record in the development, engineering, and delivery of innovative complex solutions.
- Chartered Ceng/IChem.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all functional disciplines, skills, and areas of expertise.
- Comfortable building professional relationships while fostering an inclusive environment.
- Excellent organizational and proactive planning skills, abilities, and comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams and meetings.
- Innovative and technical excellence mindset – committed to continuous improvement and team personal and professional development.
