As a Process Equipment & Test Technician, you'll work in a Monday to Friday, daytime R&D environment, operating advanced manufacturing equipment to produce prototypes, support equipment trials, and bring cutting-edge ideas to life. Unlike traditional manufacturing roles, you'll enjoy the challenge of diverse innovation projects without the pressure of production targets or rotating shifts.
Playing a critical role in our ambitious innovation programme, you'll help develop future products by producing high-quality prototypes, conducting testing and quality assessments, and ensuring projects progress at pace in a fast-moving, dynamic FMCG environment.

Principle Accountabilities
- Working as part of a team, operate machinery to manufacture & quality assess prototype samples
- Keep accurate Batch Manufacturing Records and other documentation relevant to machine trials
- Develop a detailed understanding of machines and materials in-use across R&D
- Complete planned maintenance activities including machine settings; routine Clean/Inspect/Lubricate requirements, on-job completion of breakdowns or machine enhancements. Plan & complete periodic deeper machine maintenance activities such as subassemblies, machine breakdowns etc.
- Comply with all necessary & relevant Health & Safety Policies & Practices
- Provide ongoing support for R&D projects

Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in the consumer goods or light industrial manufacturing or electrical engineering industries
- To work as an individual and as part of a team to collaborate with purpose
- Strong Communication Skills, Time management, report writing and problem solving
- Planning and completing work to agreed standards
- Candidates must have a drive for learning; continuous improvement and open to innovative ideas and techniques
- Open minded and embrace change with a curiosity to learn and improve
