Biopharmaceutical Company | 6 Month Contract | Slough
A leading biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Process Excellence Specialist to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in process excellence, business transformation or process engineering to play a key role in designing and implementing future-state ways of working within a pharmaceutical R&D environment.
The Role
You will work closely with process owners, subject matter experts and the Process Excellence team to capture future-state processes, drive process rewiring and ensure new ways of working are effectively implemented across the organisation's drug development landscape.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating working sessions with process owners, SMEs and the Process Excellence team to define future-state processes.
- Translating future process designs into practical ways of working and driving stakeholder alignment.
- Supporting process rewiring, including updates to governance structures, charters and ways of working.
- Developing standardised templates and guidelines for key process documentation.
- Supporting process documentation and process modelling using the relevant documentation tools.
- Working with process owners to ensure future-state processes are accurately documented and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Bridging the gap between process design and execution, ensuring changes are practical and implemented effectively.
- Helping define training strategies, training materials and process performance KPIs.
- Identifying documentation gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement and escalating where appropriate.

About You

We're looking for someone with:
- 5 years experience in process excellence, business transformation or a similar discipline.
- Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of lean six sigma methodology and associated BPM tools e.g. Viso, Aris, SAP, iGrafx.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to translate process design into clear, practical and implementable ways of working.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or agile environments will be beneficial.
