Process Improvement Consultant
Location: London
Albany Beck is a UK-based Management Consultancy that partners with leading Financial Services organisations to deliver complex change and transformation programmes. We are looking for a Process Improvement Consultant to join our consulting team and support a major financial services client on a business improvement initiative.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their process improvement career who enjoys analysing how organisations operate and identifying ways to make processes simpler, faster and more effective.
The Role
As a Process Improvement Consultant, you will work closely with business and change stakeholders to review existing processes, identify inefficiencies and help implement practical improvements. You will be involved throughout the process improvement lifecycle, from understanding current ways of working through to measuring the benefits of delivered changes.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of business functions while working within a collaborative transformation environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
