As part of supporting our growing consumables department, we are now recruiting a Process Operative on a temporary 3 month contract to join our SPT Labtech team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the team deliver high quality consumables to meet our customers' expectations. You will be responsible for carrying out production tasks and running quality control checks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work safely in a cleanroom, maintaining excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment and risk management systems.
  • Keep reliable records of work undertaken with results.
  • To abide by all company policies and procedures, working safely and reporting any accidents or incidents
  • Meticulously follow work instructions and SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Maintain accurate production records and work with the team to enhance quality output
  • Contribute to problem-solving activity in the spirit of continuous improvement

You will be/have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environments
  • A strong work ethic, be high-energy and reliable
  • Used to following procedures in line with quality instructions

The essentials:

  • Respect for good health and safety practices

  • Flexible approach to work and a willingness to move to other areas within consumables production
  • Must be able to be trained in the proper handling of chemicals and hazardous waste
