About the Role We are looking for a Shift Process Operator to join our manufacturing team based in Ellesmere Port.

Working as part of a shift team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant processes, ensuring production targets are achieved whilst maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
In this role, you will:
- Operate plant processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes using a Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Carry out shunting activities and couple and decouple ISO tanks.
- Perform product sampling, testing and basic chemical analysis.
- Support maintenance activities through plant isolation and Permit to Work systems.
- Identify and resolve process issues to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Complete operational records, process data and shift reports accurately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and plant cleanliness.
- Contribute to site safety initiatives, including our Journey to Zero Harm programme.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be safety conscious, proactive and capable of working effectively within a process manufacturing environment.
You will have:
- A minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Process Plant Operations.
- A valid Fork Lift Truck licence.
- An understanding of COSHH principles and their application within plant operations.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A willingness to undertake Shunting Training and gain the relevant licence.
