The Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Operator to join our GMP manufacturing team in Hull. Reporting to the Processing Lead, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of goods. Your role will be crucial in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with GMP and company procedures
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate processing of materials
  • Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Maintain detailed and accurate production records for traceability and compliance
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to optimise workflow
  • Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations within a GMP environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
  • Ensure a clean and organised workspace in line with GMP housekeeping standards
  • Maintain a proactive, team-oriented attitude to support a positive work environment

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience as a Process Operator in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control procedures
  • Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as MHRA, or ISO guidelines
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
