About the Role

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for manufacturing agarose resin products under ISO 9001 and pharmaceutical quality standards, ensuring first-time batch production success. Key duties include:

  • Batch production adherence

    • Follow risk assessments, work instructions, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and batch records without deviation.
    • Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated processes, responding to critical parameters to maintain product quality.
  • Health & Safety compliance

    • Strict adherence to site safety standards, including hazardous chemical handling and full compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.

  • Quality and environmental control

    • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and in-process testing in a controlled manufacturing environment.
    • Promptly identify and escalate process, safety, or quality issues to prevent disruptions.
  • Technical & procedural maintenance

    • Engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance.
  • Team collaboration

    • Support shift team performance through clear communication and structured handovers.
  • Ad hoc support

    • Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in a production environment
  • Ability to manually handle raw materials, products, and equipment up to 25 kg
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer competency
  • Access to personal transportation (essential for shifts)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lab equipment (training provided)
  • Experience handling hazardous chemicals (training provided)
  • Practical understanding of chemistry
  • Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory, or food environment

Additional Details

  • Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (06:00–18:00)
