Process Operator – Northwich Plant

What You Will Do:
- Understand and consistently comply with all safety, health, and environmental standards (behavioral and machine) on site and for your own work area.
- Fully run all operations in the allocated area to deliver the agreed production plan and achieve KPI targets while complying with all standard operating procedures.
- Accurately record, track, and monitor all relevant operational performance data, taking timely corrective actions or escalating if required.
- Participate in operational improvement initiatives and use core TPM methodologies to help in the identification of losses and their elimination through root cause analysis.
- Complete routine basic maintenance tasks (TPM AM steps 1-3) and changeovers to maximize machine running times, escalating non-standard equipment conditions.
- Support the team by identifying improvement opportunities and raising issues to the local leadership team.

Position Details:
- Plant location: Northwich Plant
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good level in both numeracy and literacy as well as communication skills in the local language are necessary to perform effectively.
- Written skills - Ability to complete logs, worksheets, and record information (including graphically) clearly and legibly.
- Verbal skills - Ability to effectively express yourself at all levels.
- Have a well understanding for both written and verbal instructions.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Ability to manage all processes and procedures through the use of electronic systems.
- Demonstrated capability of working in a production environment which requires a disciplined, ordered approach with careful attention to standards of work and personal behavior.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understand and comply with all safety, health, and environmental standards on site.
- Actively demonstrate and impress upon other team members the importance of behaving safely and responsibly, looking after one another. Positively challenging any unsafe behaviors or activities.
- Identify, propose, and implement safety improvements to existing work practices.
- Know the daily production plan, taking appropriate action to safeguard completion.
- Attend to all lines in the allocated area, supply all materials needed, and operate machines to maximize running time. Escalate potential supply problems.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards by ensuring 5S systems are effectively deployed and complete all cleaning.
- And other related duties, with guidance and training provided.
Experience:
Internal candidate:
- Relevant experience in Assistant Process Operator role within Ecolab.
- Good understanding of TPM.
- Use of basic associated tools and techniques.
External candidate:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial experience in a production environment where you can demonstrate the above skills or relevant mechanical, electrical process, or chemical qualification.
- Good understanding of TPM and experience in using basic associated tools and techniques.
