Take ownership of safe, accurate, fast-paced production of material flow, working alongside production and quality colleagues to improve supply continuity and product quality. As a Process Operator within our Tank Room operation, you’ll combine hands-on delivery with the judgement to prioritise issues, solve problems and keep important work moving.
What We Offer
- Rotating shifts, Monday-Sunday between 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00. 4 on, 4 off a mixture of days and nights rotating
- Competitive rate of £13.72p/h (£29,966.53 p/a) AND you will also receive a weekly shift allowance of £109.86. (salary per hour / annum increases once full training completed)

- Produce batches per production plan
- Perform routine quality checks on the product, perform material changes and take product samples as specified
- Control and record detailed data collection using batch paperwork and interpret trend data
- Set up the manufacturing process for the relevant product code according to the batch instructions and router documentation
- Carry out raw material handling as per procedures
- Perform material changes following safety procedures
- Ensure that all sanitisation procedures are performed on the process equipment at the pre-determined times
- Perform regular safety checks on machine and equipment prior to use for production
- Follow EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Be actively involved in improvement programs, demonstrating a willingness to embrace new ways of working
Experience Required
- Experience of working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG)
- Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
- Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work cooperatively and supportively in order to solve problems and achieve team targets
- Maintains high standards of behaviour whilst managing workload
- Process Oriented - must follow set standards and ways of working
- Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours, and adjust working hours as required by the business
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Punctuality is key as well as strong attendance
- Good standard of English comprehension - Able to understand written and verbal communication and speak, read, and write in English
- Well organised and task driven
- Experience setting up and changing over machines would be advantageous but not essential
