Join Our Production Team

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Process Operator to join our Tongue & Groove (T&G) production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

As a Process Operator, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our T&G production line. Full training will be provided, enabling you to develop the skills required to operate all areas of the process and contribute to achieving production targets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working as part of a team to operate the Tongue & Groove production line
  • Operating and learning all aspects of the T&G process, including line operation, banding and packing
  • Completing production and shift reports accurately and on time
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Ensuring equipment, vehicles and machinery are kept in good condition
  • Following all health and safety procedures and using safety equipment correctly at all times
  • Reporting any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards promptly
  • Communicating with the Production Manager regarding equipment conditions, operational issues or production concerns
  • Supporting colleagues across the department by providing cover during holidays, sickness, training or maintenance activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and helping maximise production output and efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • Previous manufacturing, production or process operating experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Basic IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
  • A positive attitude towards health, safety and housekeeping standards
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Fork Lift Truck (FLT) licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided
