MMB has been working with Yorkshire Water since MMB's creation in 1999, delivering a huge variety of projects - from restoring and upgrading picturesque reservoirs, to installing the latest technology to provide clean drinking water or treat sewerage to protect rivers - we've done it all. We have several frameworks with Yorkshire Water and remain a delivery partner into AMP8, keeping our team of over 300 people busy for years to come.
Engineering is at the very core of what we do. Be it civil, mechanical or electrical, our engineers are based on site and play a practical, hands-on role in the successful delivery of projects. As a Process Optimiser for our Yorkshire region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the process functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects. From concept design to commissioning, you will ensure that all process aspects are meticulously considered and integrated.

The Role of a Process Optimiser Includes
- Operate, maintain, and optimise newly built wastewater assets, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and Health & Safety procedures.
- Responsible for sampling at multiple wastewater sites to assist with introduction and optimisation of newly built wastewater assets
- Carry out laboratory analysis on samples which is representative and compliant with agreed methodologies
- Identify and troubleshoot changes and risks in plant condition or operations that may affect commissioning activities and protect compliance
- Make process critical decisions to protect compliance
- Build relationships and engage with site operators, internal project team to provide technical input and support timely delivery of projects

What You’ll Need
- Knowledge & previous experience of Wastewater Treatment and compliance
- Have a technical and analytical approach to problem solving
- Tackle all tasks with the ‘Right First Time’ approach
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
