About the role
Provide effective interface between the Lockerely Control Systems project team and Operations. To drive a team culture of safe working and safety compliance in all activities within policies and procedures. Acting as role model and demonstrating visible safety leadership to all stakeholders including identification of best practices and safety initiatives between main works contractors and sub-contractors.

This role ensures strong alignment between the Lockerley Control Systems project team and Operations, promoting safe, compliant delivery through effective collaboration, visible safety leadership, and the sharing of best practice across all project stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
- Providing technical support to the project team
- Prompt reply to Technical Queries
- Locate operational and as-built drawings
- Attend project progress meetings and provide constructive input and guidance on physical plant operations / limitations
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- SCO 91 permitry guidance and submission.
- As a lead on the control system project, you’ll also carry out normal operational duties such as Site Controller, Authorising Engineer, and Competent Person within SCO/91 & 94
- You’ll remain hands-on with maintenance activities during the peaks and troughs of the project, which is essential to maintaining your authorised roles and staying close to the assets, ensuring operations are accurately represented
- Manage setting to work and in accordance with the safe control of work procedures
- Initiator for G35 modification process, follow design, installation, commissioning and closure of the modification
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON, LOPA studies

You’re a technically strong and safety-focused professional with experience across operations and project delivery in a live environment. You’re confident influencing decisions, working closely with multiple stakeholders, and providing practical, experience-led guidance. You communicate clearly, take ownership, and lead by example in maintaining high safety and operational standards.

- Procurement, Design, Delivery and Commissioning experience
- Project Management qualification
- Process Safety qualification
- Time served apprenticeship
- Minimum HNC/ HND Electrical or Instrumentation qualification
