Process Supervisor - Food Manufacturing
Location: Harlow
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00
Salary: £36,948.64

About the Role
The Crosby family's passion for quality has been at the heart of Riverway Foods since the family founded the company in 1971. Part of the CPC Foods Group since 2018, Riverway Foods continues to craft the best-tasting sausages in Britain. Using only high-welfare pork from British farms, you'll find them in supermarkets, including Aldi and Tesco.
As our Process Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, training, and mentoring your team of process operatives to achieve daily production targets and deadlines. You will supervise your team in the process department to ensure efficient delivery of the butchery/process plan ensuring the required Key Performance Indicators for labour efficiency/p/kg; GMP; Yield and waste are delivered to standard.

Responsibilities
- Training colleagues on process procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues swiftly to maintain seamless operations
- Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met, adhering to industry regulation
- Oversee production processes, identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments/shifts to streamline operations and enhance productivity
- Working alongside operatives to ensure targets are adhered to

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
- Food manufacturing experience essential preferably meat industry or bakery
- Food Safety Level 3 desirable
- Experience of leading and managing a medium size team essential
- Used to working to KPIs
