Job Description
Role Overview:
Contract: Permanent
Shift: 40 hours, weekly rotations (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm–6am Monday to Friday)
Huntsman is looking for a Process Support Operator to join our chemical manufacturing site in Duxford, Cambridge.
This hands-on role supports the production team with stock control, housekeeping, waste handling, labelling, and other practical production tasks.
It is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, works safely, maintains high standards, and wants to build experience in manufacturing.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Process Support Operator, you will:
- Replenish consumable stock and help keep production areas organized
- Support material preparation, labelling, run-outs, and other production tasks
- Support practical production activities such as waste handling, pallet management, packing/filling support, and general housekeeping
- Use forklift trucks to move materials, waste, and pallets safely
- Follow site safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or near misses
- Work with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse colleagues to support daily operations

What we are looking for:
- A safe, reliable, and practical approach to work
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Basic numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
- Willingness to work shifts and carry out hands-on, physically demanding tasks
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience would be helpful, but is not essential
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–6am, with shift premium
- Hands-on manufacturing environment involving manual handling and practical tasks
