Join an Innovative Materials Technology Company
Develop advanced polymer and additive solutions for industrial applications. This is a hands-on production and laboratory role supporting material development and scale-up activities through equipment operation, material preparation, and process execution. You'll work closely with technical and manufacturing teams, contributing to the delivery of development trials and process improvement programs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting up, operating, and shutting down processing equipment for development and production trials.
- Preparing, weighing, and blending raw materials and additives for processing activities.
- Supporting compounding, extrusion, and moulding operations in a laboratory and pilot-scale environment.
- Loading, moving, and organizing materials and finished products while maintaining traceability.
- Performing equipment changeovers, cleaning activities, and contamination control procedures.
- Preparing and packaging finished materials for storage, testing, or shipment.
- Operating laboratory presses and sample preparation equipment.
- Following SOPs, process instructions, and quality standards to ensure reliable results.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting process documentation activities.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support product development and scale-up projects.

What You'll Need
- Technical qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience within manufacturing, processing, or engineering.
- Hands-on experience operating industrial processing or manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with technical machinery safely.
- Experience following process instructions and quality procedures accurately.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high operational standards.

Nice to Have
- Experience with extrusion, compounding, or injection moulding equipment.
- Experience handling polymers, additives, or other industrial materials.
- Experience working within manufacturing, materials science, or industrial R&D environments.
- Familiarity with equipment cleaning and contamination control protocols.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Exposure to pilot plant, scale-up, or process development activities.
