ICTUK is currently seeking a highly motivated Process Technician to join the Paper Mill team.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team providing technical support to Paper Mill Operations to produce a quality product in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective way.

Role Responsibilities
- Support the Production Operation by testing, monitoring, and reporting stock and water consistencies across a range of processes
- Ensure that water and effluent daily meter readings are taken and recorded in a timely manner and assist with water and effluent efficiency on a monthly basis
- Monitor and control boiler chemistry, keeping records up to date
- Responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and operation of the effluent sampler
- Arrange and manage the sampling regime, including samples such as composite effluent, storm water, skip moistures, and prescribed substances
- Oversee any contractors, ensuring that all work is completed safely and according to site rules and procedures
- Adapt to any changes in operating procedures and equipment that are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the plant and equipment under your control
- To actively participate, communicate, and feedback on any trial/development/CAPEX work to enhance the performance of the operation

Required Knowledge and Experience

- Effluent plant operations
- Industrial boiler maintenance
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes
- IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
