Process Technologist Opportunity
Rare opportunity for a Process Technologist based at a large chemical-based manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. Great salary and career prospects. Monday to Friday 8.00 - 4.30.

This site is part of a global recycling/packaging manufacturing group. The Process Technologist will become one of a team of site specialists responsible for all activities related to water and effluent, in doing so keeping the site at the forefront of related technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Safety and Environmental performance of the water and effluent systems.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities relating to incoming water and effluent treatment, ordering of appropriate chemicals and maintenance.
- Support production operations by testing, monitoring, and reporting stock and reject samples across a range of processes.
- Accountable for both personal and chemical safety and environmental performance.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities relating to quality, chemical safety, ordering, storage, use, and system maintenance.
- Working closely with the Operations Management and shift teams to ensure Quality Assurance, good cost control of additives, and deliver site compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc or equivalent in engineering or technical field (chemistry, biology)
- COSHH
- Laboratory skills
- Strong communicator
- Water treatment process knowledge
- Knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO14001 / BS EN 15593
- Environmental permits
- GMP
- Internal Audits
- Quality Control
