Buying Administrator

We're looking for an organised and proactive Buying Administrator to support our busy operation, ensuring the right stock and supplies are available when they're needed.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll work closely with Purchasing, Stock Control, Finance and Logistics to keep purchasing and stock processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise purchasing requests and process Purchase Orders.
  • Identify suitable suppliers and ensure correct product specifications.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage and resolve supplier, customer and invoice queries.
  • Monitor stock levels across stationery, PPE, factory and cleaning consumables, welfare items and other materials.
  • Carry out daily stock checks and support weekly, monthly and annual stock takes.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using Excel.
  • Monitor and maintain the Kanban stock system and process re-order requests.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe and organised office and yard.

Ideally, you'll have experience in buying, purchasing, procurement, stock control or administration, along with good Excel skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
