Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops, and restaurants.
Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the Wyke Agrichemicals Manufacturing Plant is operated by PX Group in partnership with Nufarm. The site is one of the UK's leading crop protection manufacturing facilities, manufacturing crop protection products for Nufarm that support farmers and growers around the world.
Wyke is a Top Tier COMAH site, operating a complex chemical manufacturing environment where safety, reliability, and operational excellence are fundamental to everything we do. With a skilled workforce across manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, supply chain, and support functions, the site offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a highly technical environment.

The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for Procurement Administrator.
The Procurement Administrator will work as part of a high-performing, customer-focused Procurement team, supporting the timely procurement of goods and services required to maintain safe and reliable plant operations of Wyke Agrichemical Manufacturing Plant (WAMP).
The role holder will be required to work on site at WAMP typically 1-2 days per week, but this may increase depending on site-based and operational requirements.
Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the Wyke Agrichemicals Manufacturing Plant is operated by PX Group. The site is one of the UK's leading crop protection manufacturing facilities, manufacturing crop protection products that support farmers and growers around the world.
You’ll be supported with personalized on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring, and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain and develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with stakeholders to understand their requirements and requesting non-complex quotes from approved suppliers
- Liaising with suppliers on availability and delivery schedules
- Obtaining and comparing quotes from approved suppliers and assisting Buyers with negotiations
- Processing purchase orders from requisitions
- Expediting purchase orders
- Supporting Buyers with tendering, including new supplier sourcing & selection
- Assisting in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies (including process improvements)
- Assisting with supplier performance monitoring, including KPIs, NCRs, and positive feedback

Minimum Requirements
- GSCE’s 9-4 grades including Maths & English, or equivalent
- CIPS level 3 qualified, working towards, or the willingness to work towards
- Confident using ERP systems, preferably SAP by D
- Able to work as part of a team, contributing and sharing ideas
- Methodical, accurate, and detail-conscious
- Excellent communication skills, willing to speak to others, in person or by email & phone
- Microsoft Office: word, excel, email
- Able to prioritize conflicting tasks and escalate when necessary
- Able to demonstrate a flexible approach to duties, priorities, and working arrangements, including on-site working at Wyke Agrichemical Manufacturing Plant.
