Procurement Administrator (Hybrid)

Monday to Friday 0900 AM to 1700 PM
3 days office two at home,
(Will need to be in the office more to learn the business to start with)

We are recruiting for an Procurement Admin for genuine family-friendly business for a food manufacturer based in Birmingham.

Responsibilities

  • Raise, send, and track purchase orders for raw ingredients, packaging, and factory supplies.
  • Update supplier pricing, lead times, and contact details in company systems.
  • Check delivery notes against supplier invoices and resolve quantity or pricing discrepancies before payment.
  • Respond to basic supplier queries and request order updates and delivery documentation.
  • Liaise with factory planning, quality, and finance teams to resolve delivery issues.
  • Gather data and produce information to support supplier performance and cost reviews.

We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel; experience with SAP would be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A positive, team-oriented approach.
