Procurement Agent (Procurement Agent-General)

The Role:
Procurement Agent will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services supporting fixed wing military derivative programmes, bringing the programme from conception to execution to operate across commercial, military and global boundaries, along with completing existing programme obligations.
Responsibilities:
Boeing is seeking someone preferably with procurement experience to join the team as a Procurement Agent who will be able to:
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services.
- Support sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements.
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
- Mitigate risks and issues.
- Gathers data for supplier performance improvement opportunities.
- Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency.
- Experience preferable in supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.
