PROCUREMENT – AMBITIOUS STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST – GLOBAL ORGANISATION
London – 3 Days per Week | £45,000–£55,000 + CIPS Sponsorship + Package
This major global organisation is undergoing an exciting period of growth and investment across Procurement, with the function continuing to expand globally.
As part of this growth, they are looking to recruit an ambitious Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their expanding team and build a long-term career within the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their procurement career who wants genuine, fast-track progression. The business has an excellent track record of developing procurement talent, with numerous individuals progressing and being promoted within 12 months of joining the team.
The role will give you exposure across a broad range of Indirect Procurement categories, strategic sourcing projects, major global suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
The business is particularly interested in ambitious individuals who have come through a Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial Graduate Programme, although this is not essential.

Candidates can come from either a Direct or Indirect Procurement background.
The role:
- Support and lead strategic sourcing projects across a broad range of Indirect categories
- Manage RFIs, RFPs, and competitive tendering processes from initial requirement through to contract award
- Negotiate commercial agreements with major global suppliers
- Support contract drafting, negotiation, and supplier management
- Partner with senior stakeholders, Legal, and other internal functions
- Drive procurement best practice throughout the sourcing process
- Gain exposure to significant and complex global procurement projects
- Receive direct training and development from experienced senior procurement leaders
- Benefit from CIPS sponsorship and continued professional development
- Join a growing global procurement function with excellent opportunities for promotion and career progression
What we're looking for:
- Strategic Sourcing / Procurement experience across either Direct or Indirect categories
- Candidates who have completed a Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial Graduate Programme are particularly of interest
- Experience of RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and supplier negotiations
- Good understanding of procurement, sourcing, and supplier contracts
- Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and suppliers
- An ambitious individual looking to progress quickly within Procurement
- Ability to work from the London office 3 days per week

You do not need to come from an Indirect Procurement background. Candidates with strong transferable sourcing experience from Direct Procurement will also be considered.
