Procurement Analyst
Insight Global are seeking a Procurement Analyst for a highly respected global financial services organisation.
This position requires 1 day onsite per week in the UK for a 12-month contract opportunity (Inside IR35).
The Procurement Analyst will support procurement decision-making through data analysis, supplier insights, contract analytics, and reporting. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys transforming large volumes of procurement and supplier data into meaningful business insights that support sourcing strategies, supplier management, and commercial decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with procurement teams to enhance reporting capabilities, improve data quality, and identify opportunities for optimisation across procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, cleanse, and analyse procurement data from multiple internal systems and sources.
- Evaluate procurement and supplier data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
- Perform contract analysis, including spend reviews, contract utilisation, renewal tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Provide procurement leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Conduct predictive analysis to identify patterns and forecast supplier, spend, and procurement trends.
- Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies to maintain reporting integrity.
- Utilise analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance procurement reporting and insight generation.
- Partner with procurement teams to support sourcing and supplier management initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of procurement analytics capabilities and reporting processes.

Must-Have Requirements Include:
- Experience working with procurement, supplier, contract, or spend data.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Experience building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools.
- Ability to gather, cleanse, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Experience identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives through data analysis.
- Strong understanding of supplier performance metrics and procurement reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy skills.
