About The Role

The Crowd are working with a top tier, international architecture practice that are looking for an experienced Procurement and Framework Manager to join its collaborative and friendly team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience supporting with design framework in the public sector to join a design orientated business and play a strategic role in managing and developing a portfolio of public sector frameworks to help drive business growth across the UK.

Working closely with sector leaders, regional teams, and business development professionals, you will be the oversee all procurement framework activity. You will build strong relationships with framework providers and strategic partners, identify pipeline opportunities, and ensure the business fully utilises its existing portfolio. Alongside this, you will ensure social value standards are met.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines relationship management, strategic planning, and operations. You will represent the business at framework meetings, events and industry initiatives, whilst identifying new opportunities and influencing bids supported by other members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within architecture / the built environment where they have extensive experience in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for existing procurement frameworks, maintaining regular engagement with framework providers
  • Understand the business pipeline and the practice’s position within the market
  • Identify opportunities to secure positions on new procurement frameworks and purchasing systems
  • Represent the practice at networking events, meetings, and industry workshops
  • Build and maintain relationships with sector leads and suppliers
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing the procurement frameworks on which the practice is appointed
  • Monitor framework activity and maintain accurate records of agreements, contacts, and key dates
  • Oversee the data management and compliance requirements associated with procurement frameworks
  • Lead pipeline review meetings and support the preparation of bids and proposals

Key Skills / Requirements

  • Extensive experience in public sector procurement, procurement frameworks, and procurement routes
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK Procurement Act and other relevant legislation
  • Experience supporting the preparation of bids, tenders, and framework submissions
  • Good knowledge of social value requirements and standards
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and support business growth opportunities
  • Strong understanding of architectural services and how they are procured and delivered
