To manage all of this the Airbus Procurement function is diverse in its activities and the apprenticeship programme provides you the opportunity to experience different roles across the business.
You will receive second-to-none training to gain the skills and experience needed for immediate impact. You will also be supported by dedicated placement managers and an apprentice ‘buddy’ to help you along your development journey.
What you will be doing:
This apprenticeship offers an end-to-end understanding of the supply chain through rotational placements in Commercial (Flying Parts) Procurement, General Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, with potential opportunities for international work.
This 4-year, 3-month degree apprenticeship at our Filton, Bristol site offers professional experience and a BSc in Supply Chain Management with Procurement (Professional Practice) from Aston University. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
