Procurement Assistant
Are you organised, detail-focused and looking to build your career in procurement? We’re recruiting for a Procurement Assistant to join a supportive and forward-thinking organisation based in Bolton. Responsibilities
- Raising, processing and tracking purchase orders
- Supporting supplier onboarding and maintaining accurate supplier records
- Assisting with day-to-day procurement administration
- Monitoring procurement requests and approval processes
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Collating information for quotes, orders and supplier communications
- Maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails
- Supporting basic spend tracking and reporting
- Responding to supplier and internal queries

Required Skills
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Confidence working with data, systems and documentation
- An interest in developing a career within procurement or purchasing
Preferred Skills
- Previous procurement, purchasing or business administration experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential
