Description
The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Procurement Professional to join our dynamic Purchasing team. This pivotal role demands exceptional attention to detail, energy, expertise, and dedication. As an Associate Procurement Professional, you will provide comprehensive support to the facility's Purchasing function, managing requisitions, raising orders, and collaborating with Suppliers along with internal departments to address and resolve issues.
This position is integral to the team, facilitating the procurement of vital materials and services essential for the smooth operation of the facility. Your contributions will be key in driving operational excellence and nurturing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
- Generate and manage both production contract and single definite purchase orders to fulfil business requirements.
- Update and maintain purchasing systems with accurate and up-to-date pricing details.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
- Oversee the delivery of materials to support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
- Ensure continuous compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audit assessments as needed.
- Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers.
- Provide accurate data to assist Buyers and professionals in areas such as Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform analytical and administrative tasks to support purchasing-related strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with Purchasing and cross-functional teams to understand and meet customer requirements.
- Extract data from internal systems and generate various reports for operational support.

What You Will Have:
- Good understanding of the purchasing process, including supplier selection and onboarding, Request for Quotation (RFQ), and receipt of goods.
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with exceptional attention to detail.
- Skilled in gathering and analysing data to support strategic business decisions and align with organizational objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, ERP Systems, and similar applications.
- Foundational knowledge of project management principles to effectively plan, organize, monitor, and manage workload ensuring successful project execution.
- Understanding of the operational aspects of goods and materials movement; capable of anticipating, managing, and optimizing the flow of supplies and inventory.
