Procurement Business Partner
6 Month Initial Contract
Liverpool (twice per week in the office)
Up to £425 per day Inside IR35

Ready to lead end-to-end procurement, influence senior stakeholders, and drive meaningful improvements across a high-impact commercial function?

Lead procurement activity across the full commercial lifecycle, supporting senior stakeholders with procurement strategy and evaluation, coordinating category and contract management, ensuring effective delivery timelines, and driving continuous improvement across procurement policies and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement: Manage high-risk procurements across assigned categories, ensuring legislative compliance, best practice, robust sourcing strategies, governance, contract awards and value for money.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships: Advise senior leaders and collaborate with commissioners, suppliers, bidders, legal teams and external partners to deliver effective procurement and contract outcomes.
  • Drive performance and improvement: Strengthen contract management, market intelligence, financial and risk analysis, training, reporting and continuous improvement across procurement policies, processes and standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations, the Equality Act and Modern Slavery legislation.
  • (PA23 & PCR2015)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and presentation software.
  • Experienced in e-procurement systems and digital procurement processes.
  • Extensive Public Sector Procurement Experience
