The Procurement Business Partner

The Procurement Business Partner will play a crucial role in supporting Procurement and Supplier Management team in ensuring that third party suppliers are performing in line with their contractual obligations and providing value for money to the Bank from a commercial perspective. This position reports to the Procurement Manager and works closely with the Head of Procurement.

Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow

Core responsibilities

  • Acting as a Business Partner to key stakeholders across the organisation who rely on third party suppliers to deliver and support their business operations. These stakeholders include budget owners, service owners, IT specialists, Legal, Information Security and Data Protection subject matter experts.
  • Rolling out and supporting the new Supplier Management Framework across the organisation.
  • Coordinating weekly/monthly meetings with stakeholders to cover supplier performance, commercial/cost matters, contract and service changes and renewals.
  • Supporting the wider Procurement team in commercial contract matters.
  • Acting as the conduit between business stakeholders and Procurement to ensure that service delivery, contract performance and cost/value changes are all impact assessed from both a commercial and supplier risk perspective.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies across our third-party suppliers and working with key stakeholders to turn those opportunities into tangible benefits.
  • Contributing to cost forecasting and budgeting processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
