Morgan Hunt are delighted to be supporting a Public Sector Organisation as they look to welcome a Procurement Business Partner on a full time and permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading strategic sourcing and tendering activity from end to end
- Developing and managing commercial and supplier contracts
- Driving compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Establishing meaningful KPIs and supplier performance measures
- Managing contract variations, reviews and commercial improvements
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal partners
- Supporting supplier rationalisation and supply-chain development
- Improving procurement processes, systems and commercial practices
- Providing leadership, mentoring and development where required

Essential Experience:
- Strong experience managing the full tendering process
- Proven commercial contract management experience, ideally within the public sector or regulated environment
- Practical knowledge of procurement processes and regulations
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- CIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards Chartered status
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical, communication and IT skills
- Experience in legal contract management would be advantageous
