Procurement Buyer - Indirect

Department: Procurement

Location: Uxbridge

We are looking for a Procurement Buyer - Indirects to support the development and execution of procurement strategies across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories within Pilgrim’s Europe.

What You'll Do

Support the development and implementation of category strategies across indirect spend areas, end-to-end Lead sourcing activities, RFQs, tenders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations Deliver cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct spend analysis, market research, benchmarking, and supplier assessments Monitor supplier performance and support supplier relationship management programs Identify and mitigate supply chain, commercial, and operational risks in Indirect materials Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and governance requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions Manage contract renewals and support commercial negotiations with suppliers

What You'll Bring

Experience within procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain functions Strong understanding of procurement processes, tendering, supplier management, and contract negotiation Proven ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities Experience using SAP, eProcurement systems, contract management tools, or spend analytics platforms is desirable CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous
