Procurement & Commercial Manager Onshore & Offshore Wind | Early Development to FID

Job Details

  • Day rate: up to £950 per day (DOE), Inside IR35 via Umbrella
  • Contract length: approximately 6 months
  • Location: ideally based in Central Scotland; remote candidates considered but would need to travel to Central Scotland on a fortnightly basis
  • Engagement: Freelance/contract
  • Requirement: Full UK Working Rights

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced multi-skilled P&C Manager to join a growing renewable energy programme spanning both onshore and offshore wind projects, from early development stage through to Final Investment Decision (FID). This freelance opportunity offers exposure across a diverse portfolio of complex wind packages, working alongside Lead P&C Managers on high-value procurement and contracts activity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting P&C activity across WTG (Wind Turbine Generator), MIP, and ESI packages
  • Developing terms and conditions for complex onshore and offshore wind contracts
  • Leading tender evaluation processes and managing supplier negotiations
  • Drafting and negotiating terms across multiple concurrent packages
  • Working closely with Lead P&C Managers to support strategic procurement decisions
  • Liaising with other developers and OEMs across the wider industry landscape
  • Providing market intelligence and positioning insight drawn from your own experience

What You'll Bring

  • Proven P&C experience specifically across WTG, MIP, and ESI packages
  • Strong background in developing T&Cs and running tender evaluation processes
  • Demonstrated negotiation and drafting experience on complex onshore and offshore wind contracts
  • Experience working with other developers and OEMs is desirable
  • Ability to bring market positioning insight to the role
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and packages simultaneously
