Harvey Nash are now recruiting for a Procurement & Commercial Manager.

Must be Scotland based – offices available throughout Scotland.

Initial 6 month contract / inside of IR35

£850 - £950 a day

Working for an energy organisation supporting a portfolio of major onshore and offshore energy projects.

This role will work across multiple project stages, from early development through to the Final Investment Decision, supporting Lead Procurement & Commercial Managers on complex, high-value packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support procurement and commercial activities across a range of onshore and offshore renewables projects.
  • Develop and negotiate commercial terms and conditions for major contract packages.
  • Lead tendering activities, including bid evaluation and supplier selection processes.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with key suppliers and contractors.

Requirements

  • Extensive Procurement & Commercial experience within the energy, utilities, renewables, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven experience managing complex procurement packages from development through to contract award.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
  • Background in WTG (Wind Turbine Generator), Major Infrastructure Projects (MIP), or Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence procurement strategy and market positioning.
