Summary
A member of the Procurement and Compliance team, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Compliance, responsible for supporting procurement processes and ensuring compliance across departments. The role focuses on efficient administration, maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing procurement activities, including processing purchase orders and supporting supplier communication.
- Maintain and update supplier records, ensuring accurate contract and pricing information.
- Support the preparation and processing of contract renewals.
- Collect and organise supplier performance data for internal reviews.
- Help identify potential cost-saving opportunities and support price benchmarking exercises.
- Assist in maintaining procurement records and contract databases for financial planning and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure timely invoice and payment processing.
- Provide administrative support for supplier evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Support compliance training activities, including Modern Slavery, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Money Laundering, and GDPR.
- Provide administrative support for internal audits and compliance assessments.
- Assist in logging and tracking compliance-related risks and issues.

Requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to foster positive supplier relationships.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen with a good understanding of business environments.
- Proven ability to manage spend efficiently.
- Have experience in stakeholder relationship management.
- Possess experience in project and planning administration.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and data skills, with the ability to identify trends and generate recommendations.
- Have the capacity to prioritise and manage workload, meeting stakeholder expectations.
