Are you a procurement professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for governance, compliance, and best practice?
We are supporting a diverse and socially focused organisation in the search for a Procurement Compliance Manager to lead the development and delivery of procurement governance, policy, and process improvement across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders, embedding compliant procurement practices, and driving measurable value for the organisation.
You will play a key role in strengthening procurement maturity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering tangible efficiency savings from the outset.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible role operating across multiple business functions, where you will act as the organisation's subject matter expert for procurement compliance, policy, and process.
Working closely with operational and senior stakeholders, you will ensure that procurement activity is planned, structured, and delivered in line with regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and best practice principles.
Alongside leading procurement governance and assurance, you will identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, deliver value for money, and support the organisation in achieving its wider strategic objectives.
The role also includes leadership responsibility for a small team, managing two direct reports across procurement and insurance services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
