Procurement Consultant - SC Clearance
We’re supporting a growing consultancy that is looking to strengthen its procurement team with an experienced Procurement Consultant.
This is a varied role working across a range of client projects, helping organisations improve procurement performance, deliver cost efficiencies and develop effective sourcing and category strategies.
The role will involve:
- Leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives
- Supporting category management and cost optimisation projects
- Working closely with internal and client stakeholders
- Managing procurement activity from initial requirement through to delivery
- Analysing spend, suppliers and commercial data to identify opportunities
- Supporting negotiations and supplier engagement
- Contributing to wider transformation and performance improvement programmes

We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong strategic sourcing and/or category management experience
- The confidence to manage procurement initiatives independently
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills, including good Excel capability
- Experience within public sector procurement would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of public sector frameworks and procurement processes would be advantageous
- Current SC Clearance would be also required
- A collaborative, delivery-focused approach
