Procurement & Contracts Coordinator

Location: Camberley, GU15

Salary: Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Benefits

Permanent, Full Time

We are seeking a commercially minded Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to join our Defence contract team based in Camberley. This role has a strong focus on procurement, contract management and commercial governance. You will play a key role in supporting the procurement lifecycle, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing supplier agreements, processing contract variations and ensuring commercial compliance across a complex defence environment.

The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of commercial contracts, supplier relationships and procurement processes, with excellent opportunities to progress into wider Commercial, Procurement or Quantity Surveying roles across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the drafting, review and administration of supplier and subcontractor agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of contract documentation, ensuring terms and conditions are accurate and compliant.
  • Review contract variations and change requests, assessing commercial implications and ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
  • Manage contract records and maintain accurate documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support procurement activities including tender administration, supplier engagement and contract award processes.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks, issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Escalate contractual and commercial issues where required, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain commercial reports, trackers and management information using Excel.
  • Ensure contract actions, milestones and procurement activities are accurately recorded and monitored.
  • Support billing, invoicing and commercial administration activities across the contract.
  • Work closely with Operational, Procurement, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across contract and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with defence sector requirements, company policies and governance procedures.

  • Experience working within a Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Procurement, Contract Management or Contract Administration role.
  • Strong understanding of contract structures, terms and conditions, and commercial governance.
  • Experience reviewing, administering or drafting commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to assess and manage contract variations and change control processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including maintaining trackers, analysing data and producing reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and documentation skills.
  • Confident communicator capable of engaging with suppliers, stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
