Procurement Coordinator
Permanent, Hybrid, Full Time, 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Your new role:
As a Procurement Coordinator at Häfele UK, you'll play an important role in supporting a best-in-class Procurement Team that helps drive business growth, profitability and supply chain excellence. Working closely with Procurement, Category, Inventory and Supply Chain colleagues, you'll support a diverse global supplier network, ensuring suppliers meet Häfele's commercial, quality, ethical sourcing and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, commercially minded and eager to develop a career in procurement. You'll gain exposure to supplier management, procurement processes, compliance, reporting, sourcing activities and continuous improvement initiatives that support Häfele's Strategy 2030 ambitions.
You'll help ensure supplier relationships are effectively managed, supply chain risks are mitigated, and procurement activities deliver best value while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring due diligence and compliance requirements are completed.
- Assist in managing supplier performance, helping to resolve delivery, invoice and supply-related issues.
- Support supplier adherence to Häfele UK's ethical sourcing and CSR requirements.
- Maintain supplier documentation, compliance records and procurement templates.
- Contribute to procurement reporting, including supplier performance, risks, opportunities and raw material data.
- Support sourcing activities, tender processes and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Work with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and product information.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving and value improvement opportunities across supplier spend.
- Help manage supply chain compliance activities, audits and corrective actions.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and procurement colleagues across the wider Häfele Group.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate data and records to support operational excellence and informed decision-making.
- Contribute to supply chain risk management activities and legislative compliance programmes.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Häfele, supporting strong supplier partnerships and market reputation.
- Undertake ongoing learning and development to build procurement expertise and support future career progression.

What you’ll need to succeed:
We're looking for someone who is motivated, curious and excited to develop their procurement career. You'll bring a strong attention to detail, a collaborative approach and a desire to achieve great outcomes for both customers and colleagues.
You'll also have:
- Excellent organisational, analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

- The ability to identify opportunities, solve problems and recommend practical solutions.
- A positive team-working attitude with respect and consideration for others.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyse data and produce reports.
- The confidence to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- An enthusiasm for continuous improvement and personal development.
- SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is being offered with hybrid option meaning you would be site-based Monday and Tuesday and a further third day of your choice, with 2 days from home.
