The Procurement Coordinator
The Procurement Coordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day purchasing activity that keeps a world-renowned manufacturer of high-performance automotive systems running smoothly.
You will make sure orders are placed accurately, supplier deliveries are confirmed and Production always has clear visibility of the components it needs. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role. You will act as the key link between Procurement and Production, and help the business move from manual purchasing processes to a more automated, MRP-driven approach.

- Create, issue and maintain purchase orders, including requirements generated through MRP.
- Obtain quotations and progress orders with approved suppliers.
- Proactively chase suppliers to ensure more than 95% of ordered components have a confirmed delivery date.
- Keep delivery dates and supplier information up to date within MRP and production trackers.
- Carry out regular missing-parts audits within the Production bays, validating shortages and following up actions.
- Manage the existing Kanban system and live order sheet, making sure there are no missed or duplicate orders.
- Liaise with Quality Control and suppliers to resolve non-conforming components and support NCRs.
- Escalate late or at-risk orders before they affect Production output.

The Procurement Coordinator will have:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or supply chain administration.
- Experience creating and managing purchase orders using an MRP or ERP system.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
- An extremely organised and proactive approach to managing outstanding actions.
