Procurement Coordinator

Application Deadline: 15 September 2026
Department: Procurement
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: London

Description

To support our continued growth, we are looking to employ a Junior Consultant to join our consulting team.

This role will assist senior consultants and project teams in delivering high-quality services to client organisations across Housing, Customer, and Asset departments. The Junior Consultant will contribute to data analysis, reporting, and project support activities, helping ensure services are safe, reliable, and efficient. This role is office based 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement activity aligned to PA23, including assisting with transparency steps, maintaining clear records, and ensuring process documentation is complete, accurate and well-controlled.
  • Support the team and clients through the transition from PCR 2015 to PA23, helping ensure consistency, good governance and compliant documentation across both regimes as required.
  • Understand the context of the social housing sector and support project teams working across Housing, Customer and Asset services.
  • Use procurement portals such as Mercell, In-Tend, Delta (and similar) to support publishing, communications and process steps.
  • Support procurement documentation through initial drafting and formatting, including: Notices, SQs / selection-stage documentation, ITTs and supporting schedules.
  • Produce initial report drafting and support collation of evidence for governance and approvals (e.g., evaluation outputs, clarification logs, moderation notes, decision records).
  • Create and maintain Word/Excel tools including: score sheets and evaluation packs, trackers (timetables, actions, clarifications, approvals), templates supporting a consistent PA23 approach.
  • Support the review and quality assurance of technical documentation for procurements (formatting, consistency, version control, completeness).
  • Manage procurement timetables and trackers, ensuring deadlines are monitored, key milestones are met, and risks/issues are escalated early.
  • Organise meetings, workshops and project sessions (logistics, agendas, packs), including supplier/stakeholder sessions where needed.
  • Take minutes at meetings/workshops and maintain accurate actions, decisions and follow-ups.
  • Complete coordination tasks across procurement processes, including stakeholder communications and document control.
  • Update and maintain templates so they remain current and aligned to PA23 requirements (and PCR 2015 where still applicable).
  • Proofread and quality-check documents prior to issue.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
