Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, supporting key procurement activities and ensuring the smooth flow of externally sourced components and services.
About the Role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Procurement team through a range of administrative and coordination activities. You will be responsible for monitoring supplier deliveries, progressing purchase orders, supporting sourcing activities, and ensuring accurate reporting and communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Progress and chase open purchase orders, providing timely updates on delivery status and potential delays.
- Create and issue purchase orders accurately on behalf of buyers.
- Support the issuing of free issue components.
- Assist with supplier invoice query resolution.
- Produce and distribute procurement reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes.
- Undertake additional tasks as required by the Procurement Manager or Head of Procurement.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- An effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across the business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other data management tools.
- ERP literate, with Microsoft AX experience desirable but not essential.
- Numerate, analytical and able to work accurately under pressure.
- Resilient, proactive and solutions-focused.
