Procurement Data & Analytics Manager, Europe
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly capable data professional to become an embedded analyst within our Procurement team at Ardagh Glass Europe. You will work in close partnership with our Procurement Directors and Category Managers — not simply supporting them from a distance – and will be expected to use the understanding that gives you of their objectives to bring data to the heart of how we buy, negotiate, and manage risk.
The right candidate for this role will combine an ability to produce robust analysis & reporting with curiosity, sound judgement, and the ability to translate data into decisions that matter commercially. Overview
Ardagh Glass Packaging (AGP) is seeking a commercially minded and analytically focused Procurement Data & Analytics Manager to support procurement decision-making across its European operations. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality procurement analytics, reporting, budgeting support, market intelligence and performance insights that enable effective sourcing, cost optimisation, risk management and working capital improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will work within the European Procurement function, liaising with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable business insights. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent data manipulation skills and the ability to bring data to the heart of decision making.

Commercial & Strategic Analysis
- Perform detailed analysis (including modelling and scenario analysis) to support sourcing activities, supplier negotiations and category strategies.

- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes for procurement categories by consolidating assumptions and cost inputs across spend areas.
- Track and validate procurement savings and value delivery initiatives, including reporting that supports management decision-making and performance reviews.
Procurement Analytics & Reporting
- Support the development and maintenance of the Procurement Reporting Hub as the primary source of transparent, accurate and consistent procurement reporting (including KPIs) and performance insights.
- Produce regular reporting and analysis across spend, savings, supplier performance, inventory, demand, supply and procurement compliance, leveraging Power BI, SAP, AI-enabled analytics and other digital tools.
Education
The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications are advantageous but not essential.
Experience
The successful candidate is likely to possess:
- Experience in Procurement Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Finance Analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting business decision-making.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, FMCG or complex commercial environment.
- Experience supporting procurement, supply chain or commercial functions through data-driven analysis and reporting.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, performance management and business planning processes.
- Experience analysing large and complex datasets and delivering actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated success delivering analytical projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong aptitude for manipulating, analysing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and business insights.
- Experience applying statistical and/or modelling techniques to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including modelling, scenario analysis and forecasting.
- Advanced use of data analysis and visualisation tools, with experience in Microsoft Power BI highly desirable.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and procurement data structures, ideally SAP.
- Familiarity with automation tools, AI-enabled analytics and digital reporting solutions is advantageous.
- Ability to translate complex technical analysis into practical and actionable business recommendations.

- Ability to build effective relationships across multiple functions and geographies.
- Comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.
