Procurement Domain Lead, Customer Deployment
London | Remote-first with a London hub | Early-stage, well-funded software company
Twelve is recruiting for an early-stage, well-funded software company that gives procurement teams at large manufacturers a clear view of what the materials they buy should cost, and where their supply is exposed.
The role
You’d be the domain half of a two-person deployment pair. Your counterpart handles ERPs and integrations, and you own the buying logic. About 70% of your week is spent with customer category teams, so you’ll be on their sites far more than at a desk of your own.
The team is small and flat, with no middle management. This isn’t a customer success role or a services role, and there are no SOWs or utilisation targets.
What you’ll do
- Sit with category managers and work out how they actually buy: approved suppliers, substitutions, decision rights, switching costs and risk policies.
- Encode that logic into the product yourself, then let the customer’s own experts correct the edge cases.
- Build category analysis on real customer data, including messy supplier names and mixed units.
- Write value cases in the customer’s P&L terms, with a baseline and named assumptions, and carry them through the commercial conversation.
- Run discovery sessions, workshops and category reviews, and help accounts grow into new categories and business units.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you’ll need
- You’ve run sourcing events yourself, from tender or RFx through to negotiation and award.
- You’ve built should-cost models or category strategies yourself, on real data.
- You build things yourself. Python or SQL on live data is the strongest evidence, and production-grade code isn’t required.
- You’ve worked onsite with clients and can hold the room with a category team or a CPO.
- You’ve owned a sourcing outcome and the client relationship end to end, rather than supporting someone who did.
- You use LLM tools in your own daily work.
- You’re based in London.

You don’t need to tick every box. Strong sourcing craft with a record of building tools, or strong tool-building with a real feel for procurement, are both worth a conversation.
Nice to have
- Direct materials experience, for example chemicals, plastics, metals or packaging
- Workshops or bootcamps run on live customer data
- QBRs, account expansion or pipeline origination
- Carbon or supply chain resilience analysis
Compensation
Pay is formula-based. Base sits at the 50th percentile of the London market for the level, and equity takes total compensation toward the 75th. We’ll share the exact numbers before you spend any time interviewing.
Process
It starts with an intro call with a founder. After that there’s a short async task, a deep-dive on a should-cost model or category strategy you’ve built, a values conversation and a live mini-bootcamp. That comes to under four hours of live time across two to three weeks.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
