British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Finance Manager in London

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Update Group WMS pricing estimates in collaboration with central category managers and regional finance teams, ensuring accurate reflection in regional P&Ls.
  • Partner with product costing teams and factories to enhance forecasting processes, improve pricing data quality, and drive automation.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support procurement teams in commercial negotiations, focusing on cash flow and P&L impact.
  • Lead finance-driven automation initiatives and collaborate with project teams to digitalize processes and reporting insights.
  • Coordinate savings workshops with regional teams, develop pricing estimates, and support the achievement of procurement targets.
  • Manage procurement financial KPIs, including savings, productivity reporting, cash delivery (DPO), and governance of the savings tracking tool (PSTT).
  • Support procurement leadership reporting by preparing updates for key forums, providing commodity pricing outlooks, and ensuring alignment with Greenbook productivity savings methodology.
  • Monitor and analyze overhead budgets, support risk mitigation reporting, and conduct regular reviews with HR, procurement leadership, and PLT members.

What are we looking for?

  • Professional qualification (CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a global FMCG, or similar dynamic operating environment;
  • Experience of operations/ supply chain, product costing, commercial finance, transfer pricing, tax, treasury, and knowledge of IFRS;
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC;
  • Strong analytical, influencing, leadership, interpersonal skills and commercially savvy;
  • Proven experience in business partnering non-financial stakeholders;
  • Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize, communicate, and present complex information;
  • Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, proactive, collaborative, and consultative;
  • Independent, able to take own decisions and take calculated risks.
